The defense of Dmitry Vinogradov, whose four children died of dichlorvos poisoning in the village of Krasnaya Sopka in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, demanded an experiment on mice. The man's lawyer, Alexander Gurtovenko, appealed to the court with a corresponding petition, promoting the idea that this insecticide can only lead to poisoning, but not to the death of children. Details are reported by TASS.
"We will demand in court that an investigative experiment be organized. The investigative experiment should be on mice," Gurtovenko believes.
The defender wants to conduct a simple experiment — to place mice in a space filled with a certain dose of dichlorvos.
"Our expert is sure that nothing will happen to the mice — they will survive. This should be checked," the lawyer added.
EADaily reminds that on September 21, 2024 in A family of six people with possible poisoning was taken to Krasnaya Sopka hospital. Four died — we are talking about children aged 6 to 13 years. Later Vinogradov admitted that the house was treated with dichlorvos, but proper ventilation was not carried out. In turn, the medical examiner confirmed the death of children from insecticide poisoning.
