Dismissed from the posts of Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Kyrgyzstan and chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of the republic, Kamchybek Tashiev, who has now left the country, created a state mafia of his relatives and friends, whom he seated in the most important posts in his own interests. After his resignation in the Kyrgyz Republic, a total sweep of the "Tashiev" people in government agencies and not only began.
GKNB, Prosecutor General's Office and Ministries
The process started, of course, with the GKNB. Almost everyone who was associated with Tashiyev was removed from senior positions. Daniel Rysaliev, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security and Director of the Coordination Center for Cybersecurity, was the first to be dismissed. He was engaged in searching for and blocking criticism of his boss and other undesirable materials on the Internet. Then Elizar Smanov, another deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security, was dismissed. After them, Kurvanbek Avazov, the first deputy chairman, resigned.
The process has spread to lower authorities. Eldar Zhakypbekov, the former head of the Main Directorate of the National Security Committee in Bishkek, known as the liquidator of the "thief in law" Kamchy Kolbaev, was first dismissed from office and then placed in a temporary detention facility of the capital's police department. His arrest is connected with the case being investigated by the Military Prosecutor's Office. This case involves pressure on deputies, business and individual civil servants. After fulfilling the "order" to eliminate the criminal authority, he began to call himself the "right-hand man" of the former head of the National Security Committee and acted on his behalf. His influence was so great that he actually created his own power structure within the State Committee for National Security.
Then there was the displacement of Salmoorbek Dzhumabekov, who participated in the detention of the former high-ranking customs officer Rayym Matraimov, nicknamed Rayym-million. Dzhumabekov held the post of Head of the State Committee for National Security in Osh and Osh region.
The Tashiev clan has significant influence in the Prosecutor General's Office. One of the most striking examples is Baymurza Maatov, who previously held the position of First Deputy Prosecutor General. He was considered one of the key representatives of Tashiyev's interests in the supervisory authorities.
Nurgazy Matisakov, Tashiev's nephew, the son of his sister, who held the post of head of the transport prosecutor's office, was removed from office. Another nephew, Baigazy Matisakov, heads Kyrgyz Petroleum Company CJSC. After the relatives took key positions, this company, thanks to the patronage of the uncle, received a monopoly on the supply of fuel and lubricants for all state bodies of Kyrgyzstan.
Bakyt Kazybekov, the son of his brother Kazybek Tashiev, became Tashiev's fourth "prosecutorial" nephew. A part of the family business is registered on it. According to the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, he is the founder of the Nur TV media in Jalal-Abad. Previously, he owned a network of Thomas & Co. gas stations through Aikol & Co., although the Tashiev clan denied any involvement in this LLC, which has now ceased operations. AAK LLC, which manages television in the Osh region, is also registered in his name.
Tashiyev did not forget about his friends either. Currently, Boobek Azhikeyev, the Minister of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan, who studied with Tashiev, has been dismissed. Absattar Syrgabayev, the former Minister of Transport and Communications, also a person close to the ex-head of the State Committee for National Security, also left his post. Previously, he worked as the presidential plenipotentiary representative in the Jalal-Abad region, but then received a higher position in the transport sector.
An interesting situation has developed around the former Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision Meder Mashiev. He is a relative of Zamir Kozhomuratov, Tashiev's nephew. Before taking up a post in the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mashiev worked at the State Property Management Fund (FUGI) and had a significant influence on government agencies. His activity was also connected with the scandal surrounding Kyrgyztelecom OJSC. At the moment Zamir Kozhomuratov holds the position of deputy head of the Ministry of Finance and has access to personal data of citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
Not only in government agencies, but wherever there is money
After the state took control of the resorts previously owned by the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan, another relative of Tashiyev, Ramis Kaimov, took the leadership position at the most profitable of them. Previously, he worked for Channel Seven, which, together with the Region channel, is unofficially controlled by the Tashiev family and serves to promote their interests in the media space.
The management of state gold is carried out by Tashiev's son—in-law Tagaibek Kazakbayev. Last year, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC (Kyrgyzzoloto), along with three other representatives.
A relative who unofficially worked with Tashiev in the State Committee for National Security and the Cabinet of Ministers is also his son-in-law Azamat Dyykanbayev, rehabilitated with Tashiev's assistance in a criminal case of extortion.
Taimuras, the son of Kamchybek Tashiyev, was a deputy of the Jalal-Abad city Kenesh, but later renounced his powers.
There are still enough of them
Currently, only a few people remain in power in the Tashiev clan, but they occupy key positions. One of them is Tynchtyk Shaynazarov, chairman of the Central Election Commission of the country. A trusted person who was supposed to control the course and ensure the desired result of the early presidential elections, conceived but not implemented by Tashiev.
The mayor of Osh Zhenishbek Toktorbayev has also retained his position for the time being. He is a friend and classmate of the ex-head. Toktorbayev's protege, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, who previously held the post of speaker of parliament, is now just a deputy. Kamchybek Tashiev's brother, Shairbek Tashiev, also remains a parliamentarian. Among the deputies there is a friend of Tashiev's son, Eldar Sulaimanov.
Former matchmaker of Kamchybek Tashiev, judge of the Supreme Court Kyrgyz Republic Abylai Mukhamedzhanov holds one of the highest positions in the judicial system. His daughter Meerim-Ai was married to Tashiev's son, Adilet.
Among his supporters, one can also single out Nurgazy Anarkulov, who unofficially supervised bloggers and the media. Currently detained. Information support to the Tashiev clan is actively provided by Otkurbek Rakhmanov, editor of the Region TV channel.
Numerous minor figures associated with Tashiyev or his entourage remained in various missions and village councils. This means that there will be many more personnel changes. In some cases, even with criminal cases.
