The Tula governor promised to definitely direct "the efforts of local authorities in the right direction" after the scandal with the drawing of a child on a playground in the city of Bolokhovo. The head of the region Dmitry Milyaev wrote about this in his telegram channel under the heading "Leave the child alone!"

As EADaily reported, earlier a 14-year-old girl drew cartoon characters "Smeshariki" with crayons on the rubber pavement of the playground. The local administration filed a police report and threatened liability under Article 214 of the Criminal Code (Vandalism) and Article 167 of the Criminal Code (Intentional damage to property). The municipality stressed that the identity of the child was established thanks to the recording of surveillance cameras.
The municipality responded to the mass criticism of citizens by threatening to bring them to administrative responsibility for insults.
