Vladimir Zelensky apparently believes that only sanctions against the creators of the Russian animated series "Masha and the Bear" can change the state of affairs at the front. This is how Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova reacted to Ukraine's sanctions against the creators of the multi-part cartoon.
"Apparently, Zelensky believes that this is the only way to change the state of affairs at the front," she told TASS.
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, spoke on this topic.
"This once again probably shows the ugliness of the Kiev regime," the Kremlin spokesman said.
As EADaily reported, sanctions against the creators of the animated series were introduced by decrees of Vladimir Zelensky the day before. Five Russian citizens and four legal entities, including Animaccord Studio, were placed under restrictions. The sanctions will be in effect for 10 years and will allow blocking access to the cartoon on Ukraine.
