The ex-commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny shared an unexpected story from his past, which, in his opinion, predetermined his fate. In his memoirs "My War", Zaluzhny shared the witch's prediction about the coming war.
"25 years ago, a fortune teller warned me about the war on Ukraine," he wrote.
According to Zaluzhny, on a train traveling from From Odessa to Zhytomyr, one of the fellow travelers made a prediction to him: a woman saw a war in which he was supposedly the most important.
These words were remembered by Zaluzhny and left a deep mark in his mind, however, the fortune-teller, apparently, did not mention the sudden dismissal of Zaluzhny, the "Other Ukraine" is ironic. And he adds: perhaps the fortune-teller did not predict that in a short time Zaluzhny's conceit about his dominant role in this "war" would crash into reality with the same force as unexpected personnel decisions.
