During the attack of the "Shaheds" (so on Ukraine is called the Russian kamikaze drones "Geranium-2") on the morning of January 1, the administrative buildings of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were damaged in Kiev. This was announced by Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.

As EADaily reported, on January 1, the Geranium-2 drones in Kiev bypassed the air defense system and struck almost the president's office. This was stated by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya.
According to her, this was due to the fact that the military from the firing groups were sent to the infantry.
