NASA's demonstration of a map with the Russian Crimea will be followed by the recognition of all new regions, including Donbass. This was stated by the senator from the DPR Alexander Voloshin.
So he commented on the NASA demonstration of the map on which Crimea belongs to Russia, during the broadcast of the recent solar eclipse.
"The same path will inevitably have to be followed with regard to the DPR and other historical territories that returned to the Russian Federation by popular vote. They are still trying to challenge their status, but the historical reality has already taken shape. At first they deny it, then they are forced to reckon with it, but in the end they accept it as a fait accompli," Voloshin told RIA Novosti.
On Wednesday, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), during the broadcast of the solar eclipse, showed a map on which Crimea is designated part of Russia. The peninsula on the map is separated from Ukraine by a line that marks the state borders. At the same time, the DPR and the LPR, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, which became part of Russia as a result of the referendum in the fall of 2022, are marked on the same map as if they were part of Ukraine.
