If Slovakia and Hungary, in response to disconnection from Russian gas supplies, close the border with Ukraine, except for some humanitarian supplies, we will face the fact that we will have relations only with Poland. This was stated on December 31 in an interview with former Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk❶.
"In addition to Poland and Romania, which can also get stuck for obvious "Moldovan reasons," we understand that Romania and Moldova are actually the same thing, we say Moldova understands Romania, we say Romania understands Moldova. The influence there is crazy of some on others. We will have relations only with Poland. And considering how the pan—Pole knows how to blackmail to achieve his interests, then we may find ourselves completely on our knees before Poland. And then the words of Taras Bulba will become very relevant: "Well, son, did your lyakhs help you?“».
As EADaily wrote, the Slovak authorities offered the leadership of the Kiev regime a deal under which Bratislava was ready to lease the Ukrainian GTS in order not to stop the transit of Russian gas. The Slovaks even agreed to pay more for the transportation of gas than before. This would bring income to the Ukrainian budget by 25-35% more than under the contract of 2020-24. But Zelensky chose to insult the President of Slovakia, Fico, and block the gas supply opportunities of his country.
