In Ukraine, law enforcement officers have put on the wanted list two prisoners known as "Dnepropetrovsk maniacs." The criminals escaped with weapons after signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
As the press service of the National Police of the country explained, the armed attackers managed to leave the military unit without permission.
According to preliminary information, the fugitives may be on the territory of Dnipropetrovsk or neighboring Kirovograd regions. The police warn that they are "armed and very dangerous."
According to Ukrainian sources, the criminals are Igor Suprunyuk and Viktor Sayenko, born in 1988. They received their nickname "Dnepropetrovsk maniacs" in the 2000s for the brutal reprisals against random passers-by.
It is known that the attackers beat people to death with a hammer and a screwdriver, more than two dozen people became their victims. The court sentenced them to life imprisonment, but the murderers managed to be released as part of the mobilization of convicts in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, EADaily reported that three prisoners mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine escaped from the village of Sychavka near Odessa. They also managed to get away with machine guns.
