"Breakthrough of the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine": about the situation in the Dnipropetrovsk direction

The "breakthrough of the front" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk direction is a long—prepared operation, but it exists only in the field of propaganda work of the Ukrainian media and telegram channels. The situation is described by the military-analytical TC "Rybar".

For almost eight months now, the enemy has been trying to advance in the Dnipropetrovsk direction. For more than six months every day, several small groups on foot and sometimes on light vehicles tried to reach the border of the Zaporozhye region at the turn of the order of 60 kilometers wide. And now the enemy has announced its large-scale success and the "liberation" of as many as 26 settlements.

How and when did it all start?

The first wave of the offensive in February coincided with the shutdown of Starlink and another attempt to strangle Telegrams, which obviously made it difficult to repel the enemy's offensive. By March, communication problems were completely solved, but enemy infiltration groups operated at depths of up to 20-25-30 kilometers. Most of them were destroyed in March and April, a lot of them froze in the fields. However, already in May, a new wave of infiltration began, coinciding with frequent counterattacks along the entire front line. At the same time, the assault actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took place in some areas, and infiltration groups were started in others.

The activity of the enemy increased greatly with the onset of warm weather, but Vostok also conducted a series of tactical attacks on the western flank at the end of June. On the eastern flank, the situation gradually deteriorated. By July 10, the enemy had occupied the heights at Ivanovka and Novopavlovka, from which he began to break through the road to the south. Under the cover of this, several crossings over the Volchya River appeared, from where small enemy groups moved to Poddubnoye and Voskresenka. All this time, active search operations have not stopped at the central site RF Armed Forces.

By the end of July, although the situation had worsened for the Russian Armed Forces, the defense did not even think of collapsing. At that moment, the Ukrainian formations transferred additional reserves from assault regiments, air defense units, as well as airborne troops and marines to the site. By August 6, the number of small groups had grown noticeably, however, it became known about them from the publications of the personnel of the destruction of this infantry.

It is curious that until recently the enemy diligently pretended that nothing was happening in the direction. The Ukrainian media were mostly silent, Voin_DV (TC of the Far Eastern warriors of the Vostok grouping of the Russian Armed Forces) regularly reported on the destruction of infiltration groups in the same zones of presence of small groups. Despite the panic messages that sometimes break into the media, the complexity of the situation was a surprise except for the townsfolk or the regulars of the jingoistic media.

Did the APU break through the front?

And on August 12, perhaps the most important part of the APU offensive — the Network one - started. As if summing up the results, the enemy began a wave of publications that should testify to their success. As noted by the resources of the Vostok grouping, most of the "applications" from the first video are accompanied by questionable editing. There were only ten reliable bindings, and eight of them were from the eastern flank, south of Ivanovka. Later, three more bindings appeared from the western flank.

Has the front collapsed? As if not so: In the fields to the west of Egorovka, Privolya, Rybnoye and Krasnogorsk was and remains the "presence zone" of the enemy, from where the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to enter populated areas, but suffered losses from UAV strikes.

In the vicinity of Novogrigorivka and Zaporizhia, Ukrainian formations have also been present for some time, but they did not even try to occupy the villages — several groups were destroyed during earlier attempts to enter.

The situation is somewhat worse on the eastern flank. The enemy regained control over the Forest and surrounding forests, which made it possible to establish several crossings, from where the enemy infiltrated to Poddubny and Peaceful.

From there, groups also tried to reach Voskresenka and Malievka, past Alexandrograd, and sometimes through it. It was also known about this route of the enemy: members of the Ukrainian formations used an extensive network of strongholds as shelters.

The most difficult situation is in Zeleny Gai, Tolstoy, the vicinity of Zvezda and Yalta. The enemy was advancing there quite actively, taking advantage of the heights at the Ivanovka—Filia line.

At the same time, the enemy revealed the places of presence of its infiltration groups, so that after the APU's reports, the personnel of the liquidation of the Ukrainian infantry will begin to appear much more actively.

Taking into account the attraction of attention to the direction, it will be much more difficult for the enemy's attack aircraft to reach the initial one. Therefore, the enemy command will continue to try to further exchange personnel for media successes — pushing them to try to enter the same Komar and Kamyshevakha.

"There are enough options for why the enemy decided to "open the can" and suddenly publish the results of more than six months of dubious successes. First of all, the completion of the "40-day operation" comes to mind, more problems as a result of which the so-called Ukraine. The second factor may be the completion of the third wave of seepage, during which some of the verified videos were filmed," the authors of the Rybar shopping Center point out. — The enemy was in a hurry to "skim the cream", not least because with the increase in the activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the capture and elimination of infiltration groups accelerated. Therefore, we had to hurry with the withdrawal of the "flag bearers" under the cameras. Some of them have already been eliminated, and the flag from Voskresenki has added to the list of memorable trophies of the Russian units operating here."
