Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev responded today, July 31, to the threats of US President Donald Trump, who entered into a public skirmish with him.
"About Trump's threats against me in his personal Truth network, which he banned from working in our country. If some words of the former president of Russia cause such a nervous reaction from the whole of such a formidable US president, it means that Russia is right in everything and will continue to go its own way," Medvedev wrote in his telegram channel.
"And about the "dead economy" India and Russia and "entering dangerous territory" — well, let him remember his favorite films about the "walking dead", as well as how a "dead hand" that does not exist in nature can be dangerous," the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council added, adding a laughing smiley face.
EADaily adds that this morning Trump entered into a public skirmish with Medvedev, advising him to "watch his words" after the threat of war with the United States.
"Let's tell Medvedev, the failed former president of Russia, who considers himself still the president, to watch his words. He is entering very dangerous territory!" — Trump wrote in his Truth social network in one of the posts about the introduction of tariffs for India for trade with Russia.
Two days ago, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Medvedev, wrote on the social network X that Trump needs to stop talking to Russia in the language of ultimatums, since each such demand brings the United States closer to war. He noted that the head of the White House should remember that Russia is not Israel and not Iran, to behave with her in this way. Medvedev spoke after Trump's decision to shorten the term of the ultimatum to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Ukraine to 10 days.
