Andy Burnham officially assumed the post of Prime Minister of Great Britain today. In his first speech, he said that first of all he would call the presidents of Ukraine and the United States, Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump, the Ukrainian media proudly write.
"Today I will tell President Zelensky very clearly that there are no changes. I will be with him 100%, as will Keir Starmer," Burnham said. "President Zelensky will have no doubt that the support of the UK is unwavering, she will be by his side, and I personally will be by his side."
Burnham recalled that he had already worked with Ukrainian mayors in his previous position as mayor of Manchester. He stressed that he uses this experience in the leadership of Britain.
