To prevent attacks on Russian refineries, it is necessary to strengthen the air defense system. There is another option — to strike back, "so that it would be unwise to harm us." This was announced today, September 3, by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech at the WEF plenary session in Vladivostok.
Russia proceeded from the fact that civilian objects cannot be the target of attacks even in a conflict, but it was mistaken, the enemy thinks differently, Putin admitted.
Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking purely civilian targets.
"We had to act in a mirror way, and our response turned out to be significant for those who opened this Pandora's box," the president stressed.
According to him, three refineries were attacked the day before yesterday, but all the strikes were repelled. Now it remains to carry out about 10% of the repair work at the refinery. Putin is confident that these works will be completed in the near future.
