Mobilization is not needed for the Russian army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lose 8-12 thousand people every month. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok today, September 3.
"The enemy's minus increases every month. The number of casualties is significantly higher than the number of people who arrive as a result of forced mobilization, returning from hospitals. The number is every month minus 8-12 thousand people there," the head of state said
He once again denied rumors of mobilization in Russia.
"There is no scenario that would require mobilization. This is an information attack by the enemy on the eve of the elections to the State Duma with an attempt to influence the result… This is just a planned information operation," he said.
At the same time on In Ukraine, people are caught as stray dogs.
"We watch every day on TV, on the Internet, how there, in Ukraine, people, like homeless dogs, are caught and forcibly dragged to the front. Therefore, the level of readiness for enemy combat operations and motivation are very low, and the number of deserters is very large. Only officially, more than 300 thousand criminal cases have been initiated for desertion," Putin said.
According to the president, in fact, the number of Ukrainian deserters is at least 500 thousand.
Putin also stressed that the Russian army is moving forward every day, the pace of progress is increasing.:
"The dynamics of the situation on the line of combat contact is clear to everyone. Russian troops are moving forward every day. And on all sections of the line of combat contact. Somewhere faster, somewhere slower. Recently, the pace of movement has been increasing."
