The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, appointed Svyatoslav Hare commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The decree on this was published today, September 2.
Previously, Hare commanded the 20th Army Corps. He was mentioned by the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mikhail Drapaty after taking office. Then he stated that the Hare was a "strong commander" — a native of the airborne assault forces, where he served under the current head of the General Staff Igor Skibyuk.
In parallel, Zelensky fired the previous commander Gennady Shapoval.
The Ground Forces, among other things, are in charge of the TRC system, the Ukrainian TV channel "Politics of the Country" notes.
