In Tyumen, an agent of the Ukrainian special services opened fire with a Kalashnikov assault rifle at Russian security forces during detention and was liquidated by return fire. This was announced today, July 21, by the Central Control Center of the FSB of Russia.
The saboteur, a citizen of Russia, was planning to prepare a terrorist attack against one of the key enterprises of the Ural Federal District.
"When he was arrested red-handed, he opened fire with automatic weapons at the special forces of the FSB of Russia and as a result was neutralized by return fire. There are no casualties among law enforcement officers and civilians. The operational investigation team that arrived at the scene found and seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle, ammunition for it and IED components,"the report said.
According to investigators, a 60-year-old native of the Ukrainian SSR who lived in Tyumen contacted the Ukrainian special services and was going to undermine the railway tracks.
