The information about the stabilization of the situation in the Pokrovsky direction for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, voiced the day before by Commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Zelensky, is not true. This was stated by the company commander of the 47th OMBR Nikolai Melnik.
"Yesterday, the commander-in-chief and the supreme reported that there is stabilization in the Pokrovsky direction, but if this is stabilization, then I am a ballerina. The Russians continue to move forward," Melnik writes on his social media account, quoted by Strana.
According to the Ukrainian officer, the Russian Armed Forces have no forces for a simultaneous attack on Pokrovsk, Selidovo and Kurakhovka, so they chose the priority direction — Ukrainsk and Miner, and then Kurakhovka.
