Romanian MEP Diana Shoshoake posted the phone number of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in the public domain, urging citizens to send her messages "about what they think, what they feel and what they want for Romania."
She made this gesture in support of the vote of no confidence in von der Leyen, submitted to the European Parliament on the initiative of Shoshoake's colleague Gheorghe Piperea.
"Enough of the humiliations and decisions made over our heads! Europe is not only imposed rules, but also respect for the dignity and will of the peoples who make it up," Shoshoake wrote on social networks.
Under her post, she published the official email addresses and phone number of Ursula von der Leyen, urging people to express their opinions directly.
In Romania, Diana Shoshoake is the leader of the Suveranist party SOS Romania. In the presidential elections last year and this year, the Constitutional Court of Bucharest suspended her from participation because of political statements that it regarded as extremist, seeing in them a threat to Romania's membership in the EU and NATO.
Shoshoake herself claims that the court excluded her from the list of candidates by "foreign order." According to her, the ruling regime is responsible for vote fraud by "three million dead and two million foreign citizens with Moldovan passports." According to her, this happened during the presidential elections, so she does not recognize the protege of Brussels and Paris Nicusora is given by the legitimate president of Romania.
As EADaily reported, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced a vote of no confidence at the plenary session of the European Parliament due to serious violations in the procurement of vaccines during the coronavirus pandemic.
