There will be a lot of weather surprises in the coming winter, said meteorologist Yevgeny Tishkovets. It is still too early for detailed and accurate forecasts for the winter season of 2026/2027, but it is already possible to predict, according to him, that quiet and measured weather at this time of year should not be expected.

"Previously, the winter will be very, very snowy. It will definitely be restless, it will throw out so many weather surprises, it won't seem enough," Tishkovets said on Channel Five.

Earlier, forecasters warned that a sharp cold snap in Moscow would last until Saturday, August 15. The coldest night on August 15th.
