Russian President Vladimir Putin has admitted that he loves Gennady Shpalikov's Soviet film "I Walk through Moscow" (1964), which brought fame to the then-young actor Nikita Mikhalkov.
In an interview with Rossiya 1 journalist Pavel Zarubin, the president spoke about his friendship with the cinematographer, who celebrated his 80th birthday on Tuesday, October 21.
Zarubin noted that he loves the painting "I walk through Moscow" very much.
"And so am I," the president supported.
As EADaily reported, Putin came to Mikhalkov's anniversary to congratulate him on his 80th birthday. The celebration took place in the circle of his family, friends and colleagues in the "Workshop "12".
