Videos with empty shelves in one of the supermarkets "Fora" in Vinnytsia are published by Ukrainian public.
The footage shows completely empty counters of various types of food, a shortage of vegetables and fruits.
Earlier, Fozzy Group promised to fill supermarket shelves with scarce goods by August 24. The company is the owner of the stores "Silpo", Le Silpo, Fozzy Cash & Carry, "Fora", Thrash, "Bila Camomile" and "E-zoo".
As reported by EADaily, in early August, one of the largest chains of Ukrainian supermarkets, Silpo, following the Fora chain, placed information tables with a warning about supply problems in a number of its retail facilities. The reason is large—scale damage to the logistics infrastructure after a massive rocket attack on Kiev and the Kiev region.
On the night of August 5, as a result of rocket fire in Kiev and the region, warehouses, logistics centers and production facilities of at least 14 large Ukrainian and international companies were destroyed and set on fire. The sorting center of Novaya Pochta in Kiev was also destroyed. The logistics facilities of Fozzy Group (Silpo) and Novus were damaged. The logistics center of the Epicenter in Kiev and its warehouses in Kalinovka burned down. Warehouses and inventories were also lost by Intertop, Puma, Liqui Moly Ukraine, Toyota Ukraine.
