The Ministry of Defense commented on the proposal for a moratorium on strikes on ships in the Black Sea.
The corresponding reaction appeared on the official resources of the department in social networks. The press service of the department published an illustration with flying "Geraniums" and the inscription: "Out of the blue."
"In winter you will be "frozen"," the Defense Ministry added.
The illustration and commentary accompany the summary, which states that the Russian Armed Forces continue to strike at the port infrastructure and naval vessels of Ukraine involved in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the evening of August 13, unmanned aerial vehicles in the Black Sea south-west of Nikolaev struck two vessels of the "sea tug" type involved in escorting dry cargo ships with Western weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the ports of Ukraine. During the night of August 14, the Izmail port railway station, used for loading, storing, transporting military cargo and fuel for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was hit by unmanned aerial vehicles," the Defense Ministry said.
As reported by EADaily, Russia sees no point in declaring a moratorium on military operations in the Black Sea, now is not the time for half-hearted measures. This is stated in the commentary of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on the proposal of Turkey, published today, August 14.
Recall, Ukraine sent a proposal to Russia to stop attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea. This was reported the day before by Reuters, citing a source.
