Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Moscow should apologize for crossing the flags of the USSR from the Third Reich. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
So she commented on the post about the post-war borders in Europe, where instead of the USSR state flag, a "hybrid of the banner of the Third Reich and the symbol of the banned extremist organization NBP" was used, which the German Embassy in Moscow published today in its official telegram channel.
Zakharova noted that, although the publication has been deleted, it is necessary to understand the motivation of German diplomats and find out what exactly motivated them. According to her, there are few options.
"The first is just the stupidity of the employees of the German foreign Ministry. Of course, the long time when the German Foreign Ministry was headed by Annalena Berbok could not pass without a trace. It's sad if representatives of the German diplomatic mission in one of the key countries of the world use pictures from a fan modification for the Hearts of Iron 4 computer strategy or an American market place selling a fake reprint for their work," the diplomat writes in his telegram channel.
The second option is a deliberate and punishable attempt by Russian law to equalize the Third Reich and the USSR in The Second World War. Having "crossed" their flags, "someone seems to be trying in the mass consciousness to mix these two sides, in fact, the side of the world with absolute inhuman evil," Zakharova noted.
The third option is that the German embassy stopped working and "simply pay for outsourcing to Russian—speaking citizens of Ukraine or exchange such fakes for missiles by barter."
"Anyway, apologies for this in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism would, to put it mildly, not superfluous," the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
