Significant background noise that appeared on the air during a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova today, July 9, was associated with an accident in the building of the first building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which led to the inclusion of fire extinguishing systems. This was reported to TASS by a source in the Building maintenance department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
During the briefing in the format of an online conference, journalists drew attention to the extraneous noise behind the scenes, which arose when Zakharova answered questions from the press, and lasted about 20 minutes.
"An accident occurred, which led to flooding of the basements of the building 1 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after which the fire extinguishing systems in the building turned on," the source said.
