71-year-old Russian oppositionist Sergei Vlasenko was found dead in Warsaw. This is reported by the radio station RMF24.
The body was found in an apartment in Mokotov. A spokesman for the district prosecutor's office in Warsaw, Piotr Antony Skiba, said that at the moment there are no signs that his death was violent. The autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
"Tomorrow it is planned to conduct specialized examinations, not only an autopsy, but also toxicological tests. At the moment, there are no signs that the man's death was caused by the actions or inaction of other people," Skiba said.
According to open sources, during the Soviet Union, Vlasenko was a deputy in the Far East, then lived in Anapa, where his wife stayed. After the start of SMO, he left for the EU and received political asylum in Poland. He was a member of the "Congress of People's Deputies"❶❷ and the "Forum of the Russian Opposition in support of Ukraine."
