In three large banks of Belarus, funds were lost from customer accounts

A technical malfunction in the operation of the Belarusian banking system led to unauthorized write-off of funds of clients of financial institutions. This was announced today, July 9, at the Banking Processing Center of Belarus.

"Due to a technical malfunction that occurred in the hardware and software complex on 07/09/2025, there may be negative balances on the cards of OJSC ASB Belarusbank, OJSC Belagroprombank and OJSC Belinvestbank," the press service reported.

The Banking Processing Center assured that work is underway to eliminate the problem and in the near future the balances on the cards will be settled.
