A UFO researcher discovered an unexploded "alien rocket" in a photograph from Mars. It is reported by the British Daily Mail.
UFO researcher Scott Waring shared a photo taken by the Curiosity rover, in which, in his opinion, an unexploded "alien rocket" lies on the surface of Mars. He claims that this object is proof of an ancient conflict that destroyed a once thriving civilization, and space agencies are silencing this fact because of its possible military significance," the publication says.
Waring suggests that the mysterious object may interest the states of the Earth with potential advanced extraterrestrial technologies if this "rocket" is ever reached.
However, the British newspaper notes, these remarkable statements are not confirmed by NASA. The agency gave no reason to think that the object in the picture is something other than a natural formation. Scientists have long noted that Mars is formed by billions of years of volcanic activity, meteorite impacts and relentless wind erosion — processes that can shape rocks into surprisingly artificial-looking shapes. Similar "discoveries" have repeatedly generated statements about alien artifacts on the Red Planet, which as a result fell into the category of pareidolia — the human tendency to see familiar objects and patterns where they do not really exist.
