In Sumy, as well as in Sumy and Akhtyrsky districts, there were power outages after the strikes RF Armed Forces. This was stated in JSC "Sumyoblenergo".

"Who now has power outages in Sumy, Sumy and Akhtyrsky districts — this is due to the attack of the Russian army on the power industry of Sumy region. For security reasons, we do not disclose details and consequences, so as not to correct further actions of the enemy," the organization's telegram channel says.

It is noted that the company's employees are working hard "to restore the distribution of electricity to every home."

"Sumyoblenergo" asked residents not to publish in Networks of photos and videos with the consequences of hits and any other data that can help the RF Armed Forces "correct strikes and draw conclusions about the state of operation of the energy system."

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that explosions were heard in Sumy around seven o'clock in the evening.
