Defense Minister Rustem Umerov lied that he was buying interceptor drones, and "contract" drones are not shooting down anything yet, because there are none. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.
So she commented on the statement by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, that interceptor drones were used today to repel Russian strikes, dozens of UAVs were shot down, "the technology is expanding."
"Mr. President, where do they come from? You want to nominate (Rustem) Umerov for the post of defense minister again. He lied to you that he was buying interceptor drones, don't you know? I will write: local budgets, foundations, philanthropists, manufacturers, anyone and anything that comes across, and day after day we get by. And only now there are small, trial contracts left. A little. Contract drones are not shooting DOWN ANYTHING yet, because contracts have only been formalized, and then under duress, because of scandals," Bezuglaya writes in her telegram channel.
According to her, the front is fighting on its own and Zelensky has nothing to do with it. And the days when it was still possible to claim that "he was not reported" are over.
"Everything was reported," Bezuglaya stressed.
"Tell me, what's going on, Mr. President? The front has learned to fight on its own, but then the country can learn to live without us. No?" — sums up the deputy.
