Chairman of the Supreme Rada Vladimir Groysman says federalization or any type of autonomy of Donbass is out of question. Groysman made such a statement in an interview with Inter TV today, on February 16.
He said they are not talking about federalization or any other type of autonomy. Simply, the power will be decentralized in Ukraine and more powers will be given to the local self-government through constitutional amendments by October 2015, Groysman said. According to the speaker, elections in Donbass must be held in accordance with Ukraine’s laws, and “perhaps, there is no need for a new law.”
As for the possible amnesty, Groysman said, it would apply only to those who committed no grave crimes.
