After leaving the Russian actress Liya Akhedzhakova passively earns on bank deposits and receives a good pension. This is reported by the Shot telegram channel.
"The 87-year—old star of the "Official Novel" is awarded 95 thousand rubles of pension every month, along with allowances — the Vasiliev Brothers Prize (the former RSFSR State Prize) and a bonus for the title of People's Artist," the publication clarifies.
From 2023 to 2025, the actress put about 2.2 million rubles into accounts in Russian banks, earning more than 200 thousand rubles on interest.
It is alleged that the actress spends most of her time in Israel, but periodically returns to Moscow, since her husband, photographer Vladimir Persiyanov, stayed here.
As EADaily reported, in November last year, the actress toured the USA with the play "Drive your Plow over the bones of the Dead" based on the novel by Polish writer, Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarchuk. Then a number of spectators criticized the production and advised not to buy tickets for the next performance, which was planned in January in Dubai.
