The head of the Russian delegation, Maxim Oreshkin, welcomed the achievement of consensus on the declaration.
Meanwhile, Argentina did not support the final document of the G20 due to "violation of the rules of consensus" and "significant differences in geopolitical considerations contained in the text." This was stated by the country's Foreign Ministry.
The G20 summit is being held on November 22-23 in Johannesburg, the Russian delegation is headed by Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Maxim Oreshkin.
As reported by EADaily, the G20 is losing its ability to influence global crises, which jeopardizes the meaning of its existence. This was stated today at the opening of the G20 summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, by French President Emmanuel Macron.
According to him, it is difficult for the members of the association to develop common approaches to security issues, since there is no unity among them. Macron believes that the G20 is on the verge of collapse.
