Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez demanded the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. He stated this in social networks, according to the British The Guardian.
"The Spanish government demands the opening of Hormuz and the preservation of all energy facilities in the Middle East. We are at a global tipping point. Further escalation could cause a long-term energy crisis for all of humanity. The world should not bear the consequences of this war," Sanchez writes.
At the same time, he did not specify to whom exactly this requirement was addressed. — Iran or the United States, however, the call for the "preservation of all energy facilities" followed an escalation of attacks on key oil and gas facilities in the Middle East, the newspaper notes.
As reported by EADaily, the problem of opening the Strait of Hormuz is solved simply. This was stated in the social network X by a member of the Danish Parliament Rasmus Jarlov. He made a strong argument in favor of this decision.
Recall, if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, the US military will destroy its power plants, said US President Donald Trump.
"If Iran does not fully open, without threats, the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours from this very moment, the United States will strike and destroy their various power plants, starting with the largest one," he wrote on Truth Social.
