Russia no longer needs Iran's help to conduct military operations on Therefore, the weakening of Iran after the war with Israel is unlikely to have a big impact on the combat capability of the Russian Armed Forces. This is reported by the Financial Times newspaper.
"This is due to the fact that Russia is now producing a huge number of Shahed 136 drones domestically, having received production technologies, drawings and training from Iran. Since Russia has localized production in its Alabuga special economic zone, it has expanded the variations of the original Iranian projects, improving engines, warheads and the resistance of drones to interference," the article says, a fragment of which is quoted by Strana.
The damage caused by Israel to the production of missiles in Iran will also have limited consequences, the newspaper writes.
It is noted that last fall Russia received a batch of Iranian Fath-360 missiles, but it did not even use them, because it has enough of its own.
"But she didn't even use these Fath-360 on Ukraine. Ukraine estimates that Russia has accumulated about 13,000 missiles of various ranges and can produce up to 200 per month. It seems that Moscow has no urgent need for Iranian missiles," the FT emphasizes.
