The parade on August 15 in honor of the Day of the Polish Armed Forces in Warsaw will be the largest in the country's history in terms of the number of vehicles presented. This is reported by the Polish media.

It is reported that the parade in honor of the Polish Army Day on August 15, when the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw will be celebrated, will be the largest in the history of the country. According to Deputy Defense Minister Pavel Beida, more than 300 ground vehicles, about 60 air vehicles and 1,800 military personnel from various branches of the armed forces will be presented at it. At the same time, about 9,000 military personnel were involved in the preparation of the event.

In particular, the parade will feature Abrams and Leopard tanks, Himars MLRS and Patriot air defense systems, F-16, F-35 fighters and Apache helicopters, as well as Polish-made weapons such as Crab howitzers and Wolverine armored personnel carriers. The naval part of the parade with the participation of more than 20 ships will be held in Gdynia and Gdansk on the Baltic Sea.

In addition, the military of NATO allies from the USA, France, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Romania, Canada, Australia will also pass through the streets of Warsaw; the most numerous will be the French. Estonia, Lithuania and Sweden will be represented at the naval parade. f

Recall that in recent years, Warsaw has been actively purchasing weapons around the world. In Poland, they declare that they want to create the "most powerful" army in the EU. The Feast of the Polish Army is celebrated annually on August 15 in memory of the Battle of Warsaw in 1920. On this day, events with the participation of military personnel, demonstrations of equipment and concerts of military bands will also be held in other cities of the country. The dress rehearsal of the ground part of the parade took place on the night of August 8-9 on Vislostrada. The rehearsal of the naval parade is scheduled for August 11 in Gdynia.
