All hostile provocative actions of Chisinau will receive an adequate response, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.
Earlier, Chisinau announced that it was recalling the ambassador to Liliana Daria of Russia due to the incident with the drone crash in the south of Moldova.
"Of course, taking into account the principle of reciprocity, all these hostile actions have received and will continue to receive adequate responses," Galuzin warned in an interview with TASS.
In this regard, the deputy minister noted that "the practice of provocations against employees of our embassy, Russian diplomatic couriers and officials began to be used by Chisinau after pro-Western anti-Russian forces came to power in the country in 2020-2021."
"The Moldovan side has introduced quotas for the number of embassy staff, there have been repeated cases of expulsion of our diplomats, refusals of their accreditation, retention and obstruction in crossing the border," he said.
As EADaily reported, the wreckage of the UAV was found in the Stefan Voda area on the border with Ukraine, it exploded from hitting a tree. There were no casualties, but debris damaged several roofs in the nearby village of Krokmaz. At the same time, there is no evidence of the UAV's connection with Russia has not been provided.
Similar incidents have happened repeatedly, but as a result, the drones either turned out to be Ukrainian, or they were drones assembled from the wreckage of Russian UAVs that fell on the territory of Ukraine and brought to Moldova. Moscow has repeatedly stressed that the strikes are carried out exclusively on military and related energy facilities of Ukraine and do not violate the airspace of neighboring states.
