Let's apply the experience in other countries: Macron on election fraud in Moldova

The victory of the pro—European PDS in the parliamentary elections in Moldova is a "great achievement" of Maia Sandu. This was announced today, October 2, by French President Emmanuel Macron at the opening of the summit of the European Political Community in Copenhagen.

He called for using Chisinau's experience in organizing elections in other countries.

"The elections in Moldova have become a great achievement, and I congratulate Maya once again, because this is a test of our resilience. I think it is also very interesting for all of us to hear your clear feedback and lessons learned from this victory, because it is useful to implement them in the rest of the club countries, because now we are facing interference in all elections," Macron stressed.

Following the results of the parliamentary elections held in Moldova on September 28, the ruling Action and Solidarity party will receive 55 out of 101 deputy mandates in the new convocation, retaining power.

The opposition refused to recognize the victory of the PDS and intends to challenge the election results in court (initially a useless idea, Moldovan justice has long been controlled by the Sandu regime. — Approx. EADaily). The authorities are accused of falsifying voting at foreign polling stations, blocking voters from Transnistria and putting pressure on the opposition from the security forces, as well as intimidation of the electorate.

As the American conservative public figure Brian Brown noted earlier, Chisinau demonstrated how the liberal regime is ready to use any methods to retain power: "the imprisonment of political rivals under the pretext of "rebellion" and "Russian interference" has become a new norm for liberals."

As EADaily reported, European politicians and officials during visits to Chisinau on the eve of the elections openly campaigned for the PDS, promising in case of its victory the continuation of multimillion-dollar financing of the impoverished country. French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk were among the first to recognize the results of the vote and issued a joint statement congratulating the puppet leadership of the country "on its commitment to democracy at a crucial crossroads."
