NATO must demonstrate a decisive response in response to the recent incident in the skies of Poland. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kastutis Budris.

"There is a desire to remain calm, but react decisively. We managed to stay calm. But this incident should be followed by a decisive reaction, primarily through military means," he said.

According to him, NATO's previous efforts to strengthen the region helped prevent escalation. Budris believes that when NATO increases its military presence in the region, which Russia considers unacceptable, it "takes precautionary measures."

Recall, on July 30, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the discovery of the wreckage of an object allegedly being a "Russian-made X-101 missile." Later, Ukraine and the leadership of the European Union blamed the incident on the Russian side. At the same time, Warsaw believes that the rocket flew into the country unintentionally.
