The Kiev regime continues to launch terrorist attacks on Russia, but it cannot close the "holes" that have formed on the front line with anything. This was stated by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Alexei Chepa, commenting on the failure of Vladimir Zelensky's "40-day plan" to put pressure on Russia.
"In July alone, Ukraine lost about 850 square kilometers of territory. Over the past two years, these were the biggest losses for Ukraine. They have lost several strategic facilities, including Konstantinovka and a number of facilities in the northern direction, which opens up great opportunities for the further advance of Russian troops. They can't close these holes in any way," the TASS deputy said.
He drew attention to the fact that "the response of the Russian Federation to terrorist attacks led to an absolute shortage of air defense of Ukraine" and other problems.
"I think these are very correct retaliatory steps. We tried to minimize the impact of these actions on the civilian population during operational and tactical actions," Chepa said.
