The administration of the Gazprom Arena stadium in St. Petersburg has denied the participation of American rapper and producer Kanye West (Ye) in the organization of the concert. This is stated in the official message of the site in the telegram channel.

"In connection with the frequent appeals to Gazprom Arena regarding the organization of Kanye West's concert, we officially inform you that Gazprom Arena was not and is not the organizer of this event," the stadium administration stressed.

They added that the organizer is the concert agency Say Agency.

"Gazprom Arena has not signed any stadium lease agreements for the event. There is no such agreement. Accordingly, the concert cannot take place on our site," the administration concluded.

At the same time, a message announcing the concert in the telegram channel of the venue is still available, as is a repost from the telegram channel of the Zenit club with an offer to participate in the drawing of two tickets for the concert of the legend.

As reported by EADaily, earlier SAY Agency on its social media page announced two concerts of Kanye West in Russia.

Concerts are scheduled at the Gazprom Arena in St. Petersburg, which has a capacity of up to 80 thousand spectators.

The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture Elena Drapeko ("Fair Russia") considered the concerts Ye in Russia is a "good sign" and a "breakthrough of the blockade," however, adding that she personally has not heard a single track of West, "thank God," and is not interested in rap at all.

At the same time, his visit with poorly concealed sarcasm is expected by the head of the Safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina, as well as one of the major telegram channels "Two Majors".

"Two majors" will not share the joy of the rapper's concerts in Russia, not counting his speech as a "great cultural event."

Mizulina, on the other hand, expects that he will not perform "in a T-shirt with a swastika in Leningrad, which survived the siege."

Actress and public figure Yana Poplavskaya spoke critically about the upcoming concerts of the American legend.

She asked questions about the cultural value of the artist's work, about the righteous lifestyle and family values of the artist, recalling the personalities of his wives.

According to the official portal of the event, the most expensive tickets for both concerts — on October 10 and 11 — are almost sold out — there are a couple of seats in VIP boxes worth 160 thousand rubles.
