"Putin hopes that we are tired. We know he's mortal. He never understood us, and now he won't have time," Zelensky said.

"I believe that all contradictions and phobias about Russia will disappear in America. We need to get the Russians to the negotiating table. Finally, sanctions are needed, after which they will howl. At the same time, he stressed that on Ukraine "has no faith" that after the surrender of Donbass, the war can end, and the "seizure of the remnants of the Donetsk region" (liberation of the DPR) will cost Russia half a million soldiers (Zelensky spoke about the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine a long time ago — this, according to him, is about 50 thousand people).

"We are all tired, but we don't complain for a long time. Ukraine, of course, really wants peace, but is not ready to just give up," the president said.

He also said that China "should no longer remain silent, prove its ambition to be one of the leaders," in particular, respond to the nuclear threats of the Russian Federation (Vladimir Putin has never threatened to use nuclear weapons, although this is in the In Russia, many have been asking for it for a long time).
