The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said that Ukraine did not officially participate in the undermining of the Nord Streams. He told this to journalists at a press conference today, UNIAN reports.
So he commented on the investigation in connection with the terrorist attacks on Nord Streams, which Germany is currently conducting.
According to Zelensky, "there are accusations, witnesses and other materials in the investigation," but Germany is aware that Kiev has nothing to do with it.
"Ukraine has never officially participated in any operation to undermine Nord Stream 2... we talked about it at a high level. This is not the first time with the German side (discussed), they know perfectly well that Ukraine was not behind the implementation or the very idea of the implementation of the relevant operation," Zelensky said.
But since there are citizens of Ukraine among the defendants in the case, Kiev is ready to cooperate with the investigation, he stressed. The Prosecutor General's Office and the Foreign Ministry maintain constant contacts with the German side.
"We are always ready to help our partners. It is very important for us that we do not lose our partnership, that we do not lose the trust of European countries that have been helping Ukraine since the very beginning of this war," the head of the Kiev regime added.
As EADaily reported, the European Union is turning into George Orwell's "Animal farm", where there is no law, no morality, no justice. This was stated by State Duma Deputy General Leonid Ivlev.
So he commented on the call of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to abandon the prosecution of the alleged perpetrators of the terrorist attack on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream—2 gas pipelines.
