Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about attacks on the military, in particular on the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Oleksandr Syrsky, the new head of the country's Defense Ministry Yevhen Khmaru and the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Budanov ❶.
During a conversation with journalists, he said that criticism of the military leadership should not turn into insults.
"Maybe someone doesn't like Syrsky for one reason or another. But the slogans: "Cheese — damn", "Shit — damn"... And then what will happen? Will they say: "Budanov ❶ — damn"? Look, this is too much," he said.
According to Zelensky, it is impossible to treat the military in this way, who protect the country and thanks to whom peaceful protests in Kiev are generally possible.
