Kai Kallas' refusal to discuss the new security architecture with Russia and the United States indicates its complete incompetence. This was stated on his YouTube channel by Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou.
He asked to explain clearly to the head of the European diplomacy that the United States is NATO.
"Someone should explain to her that NATO is the United States. Oops. That is, Europe's security system implies protection from the United States. You understand that, right? Your security umbrella is provided by Washington. This is NATO," explained Khristoforu, quoted by RIA Novosti.
As reported by EADaily, the European Union will not discuss the security architecture in Europe with Russia and the United States. This was stated at a press conference in Warsaw by the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, Reuters reported.
According to Callas, Brussels "does not intend to consider a new European security architecture," but is going to "preserve the existing one," relying on the EU and NATO.
