Explosions were heard in the Iranian cities of Sirik, Bandar Abbas, in the port of Jax and on the island of Qeshm. This was reported on November 7 by The Jerusalem Post newspaper, citing Iranian state media.
"On Saturday evening, explosions were heard in several places in Iran, including the island of Qeshm, Sirik, Bandar Abbas and the port of Jask," the material says.
According to the newspaper, shortly after the first explosions on the island of Qeshm, similar sounds were recorded near the port of Jask, located in the province of Hormozgan. Later, reports of explosions came from Bandar Abbas and Syria.
The causes and nature of the incident have not yet been established. At the same time, it is assumed that the explosions may be related to Iran's military actions in The Strait of Hormuz.
