The US base in the Middle East for supplying aircraft carriers has been destroyed by Iran. This was stated by American politician Greg Stanton in an interview with MSNBC.
The presenter reported that logistics problems on the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln arose due to the fact that Iran destroyed the main supply base of the US Navy in The Gulf of Oman, and that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth decided not to make this information public.
"This is a complete failure of management on the part of Pete Hegseth and the President of the United States. They put our troops and sailors in such danger. For their families, this situation is really painful," Stanton said.
Earlier, the American media reported on problems on the aircraft carrier, such as food shortages and poor mental health of the crew, which were also associated with disruption of supply chains after a strike on an American base in Bahrain.
