Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on measures to ensure the safety of Russia's critical infrastructure. It is published on the Kremlin's website today, August 24.
The document provides for the possibility of introducing temporary management at facilities whose owners, in the face of external threats, do not take measures to ensure their safety or timely restoration of their work.
"Critical infrastructure facilities are understood as facilities of the fuel and energy complex, industrial facilities, communication facilities, municipal, transport, logistics infrastructure facilities (including transport and logistics complexes), energy facilities (including nuclear power facilities), life support facilities, critical and potentially hazardous facilities, as well as other facilities that have It is of particular importance for ensuring the security, economic stability of the Russian Federation and the vital activity of the population," the decree says.
