The United States immediately cancels the pause in the exchange of intelligence and restores assistance to the security of Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak following the talks in Jeddah.
Ukraine has expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal for the immediate introduction of a temporary, 30-day ceasefire, which can be extended by mutual agreement of the parties, Yermak said on social networks.
"Both delegations agreed to determine the composition of their negotiating teams and immediately begin negotiations to achieve sustainable peace that ensures Ukraine's long-term security. The United States has pledged to discuss these specific proposals with representatives of Russia. The Ukrainian delegation once again stressed that European partners should be involved in the peace process.
In the end, the presidents of both countries agreed to conclude a comprehensive agreement on the development of Ukraine's critical mineral resources as soon as possible in order to strengthen Ukraine's economy and guarantee Ukraine's long—term prosperity and security," Yermak writes, quoted by Strana.
