The Russian Armed Forces for the first time struck at the American UAV plant on Ukraine. It is reported by the British The Guardian.
We are talking about the Terminal Autonomy plant in Kiev.
"The drone factory in Kiev, destroyed by a Russian ballistic missile on Friday, belonged to an American corporation registered in Delaware, which apparently was the first time Moscow targeted an American company in a conflict," the publication says.
According to state registration, Terminal Autonomy was registered in Delaware in 2023.
"Russians don't care who owns the company. It's all a goal… I really think that if Patriot missiles or any American system were produced on In Ukraine, the Russians would have targeted this production facility," commented Anthony Vinci, a former senior US intelligence official.
TASS first reported the attack on Sunday, citing the Russian Defense Ministry as the source. The report did not say that the plant was owned by an American company, but it was mentioned that "specialists from a Ukrainian-American company" worked there. According to TASS, the plant produced AQ-400 Scythe and AQ-100 Bayonet drones.
No one was killed in the attack, a British newspaper source close to the company said.
