The best hotels, according to aggregator sites, are located far from the largest city, one of them is located in the vicinity of Fairbanks, which has historical significance for the USA and Russia. During the Second World War, cargo was delivered from this city to the USSR as part of Lend-Lease, there is a monument to Soviet and American pilots.
The Kremlin and the White House had previously announced that Putin and Trump would meet in Alaska on August 15. The authorities of Alaska told RIA Novosti that they do not know where exactly the summit will be held.
